Asbestos Testing Kits UK is part of Artisan Environmental Ltd and our asbestos sample analysis kits were designed by our in-house team of experienced asbestos specialists and is a simple, safe and cost-effective way of testing for asbestos in your home or commercial property.
The asbestos sample analysis kits come with everything you require to package and post your asbestos sample to us in a simple and safe way.
The sample packaging process is explained an easy to use, step-by-step guide to help you take send us your samples safely.
We offer full support for any questions you might have, either for help taking the samples or for advice once you get the results. We are available by email or simply pick up the phone Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00.
All orders are dispatched the following working day First Class with Royal Mail. Orders received on a weekend day will be posted First Class on Monday.
You will receive a certificate of the results by email within 5 – 7 working days of us receiving your sample.
Test Results
The results certificate provides a positive or negative result for the presence of asbestos within the sample provided and the type of asbestos identified.
This analysis service does not identify the type of product/material i.e. whether it is cement or insulation board (AIB) for example. This needs to be decided by you at the point of taking the sample, depending on the material and the location. If you have any questions around this then please contact us before taking the sample.
There is sometimes some ambiguity between whether a material is a soft asbestos cement or particularly dense AIB. If you need to determine whether a material is cement or AIB then we can carry out a Water Absorption Test.
